Global Environmental & Industrial Response (GEIR) is currently hiring Hydroblast Operators to join our team. The Hydroblast Operator is to safely operate extremely high-pressured water-blast units to clean customer systems (pipes, boilers, tanks, etc.) and operate industrial vacuum units.

Global Environmental and Industrial Response works with our clients to understand environmental, health, and safety needs to develop and provide the best solution.
Global provides heavy industrial cleaning services to utilities, phosphate/ mining, chemical plants, pulp & paper, and manufacturing facilities with specialization in hydroblasting and vacuum truck work.
We also offer a variety of waste processing and handling services to ensure that waste generated from client sites, is collected, transported, and disposed of in accordance with local, state and federal regulations.
- Safely operate extremely highpressured waterblast units to clean customer systems.
- Properly prepares equipment and worksite daily. Arrive at the office or jobsite on time, in uniform, properly groomed and ready to work.
- Follow GEIR safety standards.
- Participate in practical and manual activities daily.
- Engage in strenuous physical labor including lifting, pulling, and pushing heavy objects.
- Clean equipment prior to returning to GEIR office.
- Effectively communicate with the Crew Lead or Field Supervisor on area such as safety, quality, and integrity.
- Perform other duties as directed.
- A clean driving record is required for this position.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to pass a drug test.
- Ability to carry/move up to 50 Lbs.
- Ability to perform manual labor in an outside setting.
- Required to work in confined spaces, elevated spaces, hot, wet, cold, and foulsmelling environments during an 812hour shift while holding various sizes of vacuum hoses.
- Ability to use a respirator in environments where there may be exposure to chemicals, fumes, etc. May be required to be cleanshaven.
- Ability to work over an 8hour shift if required. May be called out for Emergency response.
- Preferred 24 years of handson experience and operation with tools / heavy equipment.
- Ability to perform duties in accordance with training and standard operating procedures.
- Ability to physically control industrial hydroblasting and vacuum equipment.
- Basic mechanical skill preferred.
Pay:
- $18-$24/hour (Pay is commensurate with prior experience)
