Summer Camp Counselors. Owned and operated by The Woodstock Foundation, Inc., a non-profit educational institution founded by Laurance and Mary Rockefeller in 1968, the Billings Farm & Museum was established in 1983 to preserve the historic Billings Farm as well as the character and heritage of rural Vermont.

• Comfortable working around farm animals.
• Knowledge of coordinating and managing children.
• Knowledge of child behavior strategies and creating a comfortable and safe camper experience.
• Experience in collaborative work environments.
• Excellent relationship-building skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and effective written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to be on your feet for 8 hours with mínimal breaks.

- duties:_

• Assist with the implementation of camp activities including crafts, games, cooking, etc.
• Work closely with the Lead Counselor to ensure a consistent and quality camp experience.
• Establish positive emotions among campers by leading by example.
• Supervise small groups of campers on your own, lead programs and activities.
• Demonstrate how to work with farm animals properly and safely.
• Work with staff from all departments in the organization to provide an excellent camp experience for staff, guests, and campers.
• Communicate with the Lead Counselor and Education and Programs Manager through regularly scheduled meetings, documents, etc.
• Provide input for program development to the Lead Counselor and Education and Programs Manager.

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
