    LHH Recruitment Solutions is searching for a full-time Front Office Receptionist on a contract to hire basis for a client in Katy, TX. Our client is seeking a Receptionist to provide exceptional customer service to maintain a high level of patient satisfaction.

    This is an onsite position and candidate needs to live in Katy, TX.

    Responsibilities:

    • Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in procedures.
    • Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar effectively.
    • Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries promptly and courteously.
    • Verify patient information, insurance details, and update records as necessary.
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area.
    • Serve as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers, facilitating clear communication.
    • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff members in both English and Spanish.
    • Perform accurate and timely measurements of vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rate.
    • Record and document vital sign data accurately in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
    • Ensure a comfortable and respectful environment for patients during the vitals assessment process.
    • Assist patients with completing medical history forms and other paperwork as needed.
    • Escort patients to examination rooms and prepare them for medical procedures.
    • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations when handling patient information.
    • Process patient payments, co-payments, and insurance claims accurately.
    • Assist with medical billing, coding, and other administrative duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma/GED is required.
    • Fluency in English and Spanish is essential.
    • Previous experience working in a medical front office or healthcare setting.
    • Experience/understanding of Explanation of Benefits (EOB's)
    • Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems and basic computer skills.
    • Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with medical office procedures.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with patients of diverse backgrounds.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

    Compensation: $18

    Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:00am-4:00pm

    Job Type: Contract to hire

Our program provides employees the flexibility to choose the type of coverage that meets their individual needs. Available paid leave may include Paid Sick Leave, where required by law; any other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local law; and Holiday pay upon meeting eligibility criteria.

    Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
