    Description


    This position is responsible for supporting the staffing needs for multiple markets and implementing effective recruiting to hire qualified and talented candidates who embody Castle Megastore's culture and brand.

    The Talent Acquisition Specialist will oversee all aspects of talent sourcing and recruiting for their assigned positions as well as build strong partnerships with our management team, relevant community organizations, and other effective recruiting tools.

    The Talent Acquisition Specialist is also responsible for developing new, creative and "out of the box" recruiting strategies with both traditional and non-traditional sourcing approaches and utilizing appropriate venues to identify and recruit qualified candidates to fill positions at the Company.

    This position plays a critical role in ensuring the Company hires the most skilled talent for all positions.


    Principle Position Functions:


    • Conducts recruiting for open positions, including assisting managers with the identification of viable candidates, interviewing, and selection.
    • Uses both traditional and non-traditional resources to secure a pool of highly skilled candidates by leading searches through innovative techniques including social media, job posting boards, cold-calling, networking, internet mining, trade shows, advertising, professional networking sites, job fairs, campus recruiting, etc.
    • Manages candidate engagement, provides a highly positive and engaging applicant experience; keeps upbeat and responsive communication, and acts as a Company brand advocate.
    • Follows up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback to ensure a successful recruiting process and applicant job fit.
    • Delivers and negotiates positive employment offers.
    • Maintains detailed tracking system of all positions and applicant activity.
    • Creates and continuously develops meaningful networks through industry contacts, university relationships, relevant association memberships, trade shows, and appropriate events to maximize recruitment opportunities for the Company.
    • Complies with all Company policies and procedures.
    • Performs other job duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS:


    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, as well as experience with HRIS systems and Applicant Tracking Systems. Prior/current Ultipro experience is a plus
    • Well versed with using LinkedIn Recruiter, ZipRecruiter and Indeed for sourcing.
    • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
    • High energy, passionate and highly motivated individual who loves people.
    • Experience in general Human Resources a plus.
    • Ability to work independently with little supervision as well as in a team setting/collaborative environment.
    • Works effectively to prioritize multiple assignments and has strong organizational skills.
    • College degree preferred or High School Diploma with combination of relevant experience.
    • Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in talent acquisition/recruiting in a high-volume retail environment.
    • Must be able to work in the office M-F, 8a-5p.
    • Must be at least 18 years of age.
