    Description


    The MILO Program Coordinator at Keiser University plays a pivotal role in overseeing the utilization and effectiveness of the MILO (Multiple Interactive Learning Objectives) system.

    The coordinator ensures seamless integration of the MILO M-STATS system into various academic programs, collaborates with faculty to enhance curriculum development, oversees safety protocols, facilitates agreements with outside agencies to utilize the MILO M-STATS system, and works with faculty to ensure Department of Education grant requirements are being met.


    Responsibilities:

    Management of MILO System:

    • Oversee the implementation and utilization of the MILO system across designated Keiser University locations including: Clearwater, Daytona, Flagship, Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, Jacksonville, Lakeland, Melbourne, Miami, Naples, New Port Ritchey, Orlando, Pembroke Pines, Port St. Lucie, Sarasota, Tallahassee, Tampa, and West Palm Beach.
    • Ensure that the MILO system is utilized effectively in course curricula.
    • Coordinate with faculty to integrate MILO into instructional strategies and learning objectives.

    Safety and Security Oversight:

    • Coordinate with campus MILO Safety Security Officers to ensure compliance with safety protocols.
    • Document safety operations and procedures related to the use of the MILO system.
    • Ensure all facilitators and users undergo required safety and equipment briefings.

    Reporting and Documentation:

    • Assisting the Program Director in collecting data necessary each quarter that must be provided to the OOC for the quarterly reports that are required by the Department of Education (DOE) detailing programmatic results, objectives, and deliverables.
    • Campus

    Requirements:

    • Ensure all campuses have designated an appropriate space for the MILO training system, ensuring adequate operational space.
    • Establish MILO training for designated instructors and maintain attendance records.
    • Facilitate photography of classroom setups and training scenarios.

    Engagement and Outreach:

    • Act as a liaison between campuses and local agencies to arrange for monthly MILO training sessions and document outreach efforts.
    • Create a Partnership Agreement with local agencies, including a memorandum of understanding of expectations when utilizing the MILO.
    • Distribute Keiser University surveys to assess MILO effectiveness and utilization during biannual advisory board meetings.
    • Promote career awareness among K12 students and facilitate employment opportunities for Keiser graduates.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Education, Criminal Justice, etc.) preferred but may be substituted for professional experience.
    • Prior experience in training program coordination or educational administration.
    • Familiarity with firearms training and simulation systems preferred.
    • Strong organizational and communication skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and external stakeholders.
    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite for reporting and documentation purposes.
