Job Title: Business Analyst (specializing in P&C Insurance)

Work Location: San Diego, CA (Hybrid - Onsite)

Primary Skills (Must have):

Minimum 7 years of experience as a P&C Insurance business analyst.
In-depth knowledge of commercial lines such as Inland Marine, Umbrella, Auto, General Liability, and Property.
Proficiency in handling Policy lifecycle and claims, including SQL query creation and execution for policy or claims databases.
Familiarity with Agile methodology.
Ability to translate requirements into use cases and define acceptance criteria.
Experience in collaborating with development and testing teams to ensure solution alignment with acceptance criteria.
Strong skills in Requirements Gathering, Elicitation, and Analysis.
Expertise in Workflow Diagrams and excellent communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Capability to work independently.

Secondary Skills (Nice to have):

Experience in Product Configuration of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products.
