Position Overview

The Comprehensive Advice team within LPL's Services Group division is seeking a talented and versatile Business Analyst to join our dynamic team.

As a Product Management Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting our product management team with a variety of projects.

You will be responsible for handling ad-hoc projects, data cleanup, setting up meetings, and more.

Additionally, you will utilize your analytical skills and business acumen to contribute to data analysis, market research, user experience research, and process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in adhoc projects and random tasks that arise, such as data cleanup, scheduling meetings, and administrative support for the product management team.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement based on product data. Generate regular reports for stakeholders and provide insights to inform decisionmaking.
  • Perform market research to understand industry trends, competitor analysis, and customer preferences. Translate findings into actionable recommendations for product strategy.
  • Conduct user experience (UX) research, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gather feedback and improve the overall user experience of our products.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to create detailed product requirement documents (PRDs) or user stories for new features or enhancements.
  • Provide project management support by tracking project timelines, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring tasks are completed on schedule.
  • Identify inefficiencies in existing processes and workflows and propose solutions for streamlining operations and enhancing productivity.
  • Analyze customer support tickets, feedback forums, and reviews to identify common issues and opportunities for product improvement. Prioritize feature requests and bug fixes based on customer needs.
  • Develop training materials and documentation for internal teams or external users to ensure effective use of our products and delivery of our services.
  • Assist in quality assurance (QA) testing of new features or product releases, identifying bugs, usability issues, and edge cases that require attention.
  • Participate in strategic planning sessions to brainstorm new product ideas, define longterm goals, and prioritize initiatives based on business objectives and market opportunities.

Requirements:


  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with crossfunctional teams.
  • Detailoriented with a focus on delivering highquality work.

Preferences

  • Experience building presentations in PowerPoint and for an executive audience, drafting memos, and cleaning/reviewing data and building financial models in Excel.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in business analysis, project management, or product management roles.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
  • Experience conducting market research and user experience research.

Pay Range:

$31.67-$47.51/hour


Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
