- Lead and manage the operations of the fine dining restaurant within the luxury hotel, including front-of-house, back-of-house, and guest relations.
- Develop and implement service standards, SOPs, and training programs to ensure exceptional service and consistency in guest experience.
- Hire, train, schedule, and supervise restaurant staff, fostering a positive work environment and promoting teamwork and professional growth.
- Plan and coordinate special events, promotions, and themed dining experiences to enhance the restaurant's offerings and attract guests.
- Monitor and control operational costs, including labor, food, beverage, and supplies, to maximize profitability while maintaining quality.
- Maintain a strong focus on guest satisfaction, handle guest feedback and complaints effectively, and work to exceed guest expectations.
- Collaborate with the hotel's food and beverage team, kitchen staff, and suppliers to ensure seamless operations and menu development.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations to maintain a clean and safe environment for guests and staff.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor analysis to make informed decisions and drive business growth.
- Uphold the hotel's brand standards, values, and reputation, creating memorable experiences for guests.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in restaurant management, with a focus on fine dining or upscale hospitality.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team of professionals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
- Proven track record in operational management, financial acumen, and problem-solving in a restaurant setting.
- Understanding of industry trends, market dynamics, and guest preferences in the fine dining segment.

POSITION OBJECTIVE:
We are seeking a talented Restaurant Manager to join Dōgon. We are elated to partner with renowned Chef Kwame Onwuachi.
He is returning to the nation's capital to bring a bold and imaginative restaurant concept to Salamander Washington DC in Spring 2024.The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, a proven track record in fine dining restaurant management, and the ability to deliver exceptional service in a sophisticated setting.
