    Millwood Hospital is a 134-bed mental health facility that provides inpatient and outpatient mental health and chemical dependency treatment.

    Millwood's caring, and multidisciplinary staff has successfully provided inpatient and outpatient mental health and chemical dependency care to children, adolescents, adults, and senior adults since 1971.

    Millwood Hospital is located in Arlington, TX in the heart of the city. It is 5 minutes away from AT&T Stadium home of the Dallas Cowboys. The hospital is less than 35 minutes from DFW International Airport.

    POSITION SUMMARY - HR DIRECTOR


    The Human Resources Director is responsible for providing overall human resources generalist support for the facility (320+ employees), which includes recruiting for vacant positions, conducting employee investigations, facilitating general employee orientations, maintaining all personnel records and files, conducting employee benefits and 401(k) enrollment meetings, responding to insurance and unemployment compensation correspondence, and organizing all employee activities and in-services.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    Education:
    Bachelor's Degree is required; BBA Degree with Major in Human Resource Management is preferred or related field. Current SPHR or PHR certification is preferred.


    Experience:
    A minimum of five (5) years experience in Human Resources. Must have at least two years experience working in Human Resources in a healthcare setting. Must have previous Supervisory or Director-Level experience.


    Additional Requirements:
    Must have good understanding of HR related Joint Commission Standards and be familiar with the Joint Commission Survey process. Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Good general computer knowledge, in Word and Excel, and ability to prepare HR reports.
