    Description

    HUDA is looking for a PASTRY CHEF to join our culinary team We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic, and curious person to build out our desserts and bread program



    What we want from you:

    • Make delicious flatbreads, pastas, and desserts based on our menu needs.
    • Be a collaborative team player. Sharing ideas and accepting feedback from your colleagues.
    • Collaborate with other parts of the team, including bar and kitchen to develop an amazing product for our guests.
    • Full-Time availability -- including weekends and holidays
    • Previous restaurant experience -- with baking/pastry
    • Have your NYC Food Handlers License (not required -- but nice to have)

    Qualified candidates will posess the following traits:

    • Not easily frazzled under pressure
    • Attention to detail, every day.
    • Flexible to work both production and service.
    • Maintain a clean work and organized station.


    Physical requirements:

    • ability to lift 50 lbs
    • ability to stand and walk for a 10-hour shift, including moving safely through all areas of the restaurant
