    Description

    Our client is a global, prestigious professional services company looking to add a Consulting Manager to their team. This is a highly visible to leadership and is both internal and external facing. There is opportunity for growth and advancement. A successful candidate will have a balance of analytical skills and excellent communication. The role offers a variety of tasks including ad-hoc projects, a close knit team and strong work life balance.

    This position is hybrid with 3 days a week in downtown Chicago, IL office.

    Roles and responsibilities of the Consulting Manager include but are not limited to the following:

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Create models to assess financial impact of pricing proposals and assist in the development of creative pricing solutions in response to client demands.
    • Develop key relationships with firm personnel across multiple functions, including Business Intelligence, Marketing, Accounting, etc.
    • Act as key resource on select clients requiring ongoing significant financial support and matter management, both internally and externally.
    • Track and report on complex and alternative fee arrangements to lawyers and firm management.
    • Assist with development of internal and external pricing tools and provide ongoing support.
    • Assist partners and the marketing department in responding to RFPs and ad hoc client requests.
    • Develop tools and processes to leverage historical matter and client data to enable analysis and support for global practice groups and Firm leadership.
    • Enhance and further develop tools and processes to support scoping of engagements and reporting.
    • Direct and supervise staff, including review of work, training and mentoring.
    • Promote high levels of service throughout group; ensure service standards are set and achieved by team; provide coaching and mentoring to staff to ensure a high level of service is accomplished individually and through teamwork.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance.
    • A minimum of 8 years of accounting and financial analysis experience
    • Previous consulting experience highly preferred
