    As a member of the regional operations team consisting of the Senior Vice President, Vice President Property Management (VPPM), Regional Managers, and Facilities Managers/Directors, the Analytics Manager- Operations demonstrates a strong knowledge of Equity's financial and operational policies, processes, and reporting systems to advise the regional leadership team on the portfolio's performance and uncover strategic opportunities.

    This position is responsible for analysis and forecasting, financial review documentation for S-Ox requirements, and special projects for the apartment communities within a VPPM's portfolio.

    The Analytics Manager- Operations collaborates with the regional team to provide guidance on leveraging financial reporting tools and serves as the operational partner to the VPPM. They work closely with the Operations team to ensure compliance with the national reporting structure and address specific local market reporting needs.

    WHAT YOU'LL DO

    • Serve as a financial consultant to VPPM providing insight and ad hoc reporting to support decision-making and strategic planning while communicating with Analytics Director.
    • Participate in monthly operational review meetings by evaluating performance, implementing new guidelines, and supporting corrective actions.
    • Collect and analyze operational data and market metrics to recognize market trends and business issues.
    • Complete all annual property operating budgets and forecasting associated with the assigned portfolio.
    • Assist the regional property management team on new acquisitions and developments.
    • Independently identify trends and shifts in behavior and present findings to the Regional Leadership and National POA team.
    • Act as a liaison between the VPPMs and business partners.
    • Utilize the Company's financial reporting systems such as MRI, Essbase, and BI.
    • Represent the Company in a professional manner at all times.
    • Perform additional analysis, special projects, and other duties as needed.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor's degree required (in a related field such as Accounting or Finance preferred).
    • Minimum of 2 years related experience required.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills are essential.
    • Must be able to supervise, organize, prioritize workload, and work on numerous projects/tasks simultaneously.
    • Proficient with online automated accounting systems, Excel, Essbase, and Google.
    • Ideal candidates will demonstrate intellectual curiosity and the ability to act as a strategic business partner.

    Base salary: $90,000 - $120,000 /year in addition to base salary, a discretionary annual bonus is provided. The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, and qualifications.
