Sandra Nakama

An accomplished communications professional with more than 20 years of combined corporate communications, PR, marketing, and sales experience in the tech, consumer and real estate industries. Proven track record of managing and executing worldwide public relations and analyst relations programs, global customer reference activities that increase global brand awareness and influence customer purchase consideration. Strategic planner with excellent organizational and interpersonal communications skills. 

Over the course of my career in communications, I have had the opportunity to set the strategy for company launches, develop customer content in the form of stories and videos, media placement, social media and speaking engagements to drive brand awareness.  I've exceeded business expectations year-over-year, driving positive public perception and share of voice.  I've organized strategic thought-leadership press events including major Hollywood movie premiere receptions.

I was also part of a team that won a Technical Emmy for Streaming Services.  

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Communications from the University of California, Santa Barbara.  My area of focus was on the effects of communication and mass media.  In addition to this degree, I've also continued my education and have taken feature writing classes.  

I also obtained a California Real Estate License in 2020.
