    Job Summary:

    The General Manager position is fully accountable for the profitable operation of a Firehouse Subs Restaurant while adhering to all company guidelines and regulations while building the Firehouse Subs brand.

    Qualification Requirements:
    * Ø Ensure the restaurant is in full compliance with all local, state and federal regulations
    * Ø Ensure knowledge, adherence and enforcement of all Firehouse Subs Policies and Procedures
    * Ø Provide leadership to the restaurant team so that each team member consistently meets our standards of superior customer service, quality and cleanliness, while embracing the Firehouse Subs "Culture" of a cheerful and fun work environment
    * Ø Ensure the profitability of the business by operating within established guidelines and requirements for sales growth, food cost, labor, and controllable costs
    * Ø Coordinate and implement current operations game plans and company initiatives and store marketing in a profitable and timely manner
    * Ø Accountable for the proper staffing of the restaurant with qualified personnel
    * Ø Accountable for the continuous training and development of the restaurant personnel including other managers and shift leaders
    * Ø Ensure all required programs, reports and legal documents are accurate, complete and

    Accomplished on schedule

    * Ø Assist and manage any/all duties assigned by District Leader/Vice President/Owner
    * Ø Maintain a safe and secure work and dining environment

    Supporting Duties as a General Manager:
    * - Able to work on his/her feet for extended periods of
    * - Able to lift up to 50 lbs
    * - Maintain awareness and participation in community affairs to take advantage of sales and public relations opportunities
    * - Represent Firehouse Subs in a professional and positive manner at all times
    * - Communicate effectively to District Leader/Vice President/Owner and Firehouse Subs Home Office Personnel all issues and opportunities which may impact business
    * - Maintain restaurant equipment in full working order and communicate problems immediately to the Owner
    * - Ability to analyze business trends and develop plans/implement plans for success

    Compensation:
    $35-$40 K based on eperience

This year, Firehouse of America and Firehouse Subs suppliers will together donate a portion of purchases at Firehouse Subs locations to the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation for the purchase of lifesaving equipment, with a minimum donation of $1 million.
