- Read and understand word documents and simple drawings, with general computer knowledge and basic knowledge of reading excel spreadsheets
- Assemble parts using hand tools and power tools including but not limited to torque wrenches and screw drivers
- Measure, cut, and shape materials to the required dimensions
- Fit and align parts to ensure a perfect fit
- Test and troubleshoot assembled products to ensure proper functioning
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Maintain and organize work area and tools
- Follow safety procedures and regulations
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints/specifications
- Ability to use standard measuring instruments in both English and metric
- Knowledge of assembly techniques and processes
- Ability to operate hand and power tools
- Ability to use basic fabrication tools such as jigs, fixtures, drills, and saws
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment and ability to multi-task
- Attention to detail
- Ability to follow specific instructions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of safety practices and procedures
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Must have good vision, with or without the aid of vision correction.

Position Summary:
