    PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT/ PRODUCTION ASSISTANT- Accessories & Footwear

    Cult Gaia is a womens fashion brand based in Los Angeles. We are looking for an intelligent, hard-working candidate to support the Accessories and Footwear team with development and production of both categories.

    As the Product Development / Production Assistant you would be responsible for sample management and WFX data entry. In addition, the Product Development / Production Assistant will be responsible for assisting in daily Product Development and Production responsibilities. The right candidate would be a motivated team player and self starter. This role is critical to the Product Development and Production structures for Cult Gaia

    This position will report to the Director, Product Development /Production

    Responsibilities:

    Process, manage, and track all sample orders (development samples, wear tests, PP/ TOPs and any other misc. samples ordered from PD/Design/Production)

    Upkeep of Sample Closet: Organization of Samples and following Companys Sample Process for achiving samples

    Preparing and organizing samples for Photoshoots

    Receive and unpack daily development shipments in LA head quarters and update PD/Design/Production on shipments received on WIP

    WFX data entry work

    Assist with material library/ color standard management both in office and WFX system

    Assist with compiling fit data and corrections after each meeting for SMS/ PP and TOP

    Assist PD with tech pack handoffs

    Build abilities to work on basic development and production work

    Generate and maintain WIPs

    Shipping samples and swatches to overseas vendors

    Required Skills:

    Proficient in Microsoft applications

    Experience with WFX systems

    Experience working effectively in complex global organizations, satisfying the needs of a multited of crossfunctional teams, and often working under the pressure of competing and sometimes conflicting priorities

    Effective communicator

    Apply problem solving techniques and skills

    Motivated team player and self starter

    Strong organization skills

    Exceptional attention to detail
