Description
The Semel Institute is seeking to hire a Student Assistant 2 to assist with dedicated tasks including but not limited to:

  • Computer equipment inventory, new and used, of all SEMEL users,
  • Consolidation and organization of computer and phone equipment, cables, accessories, peripherals, etc.,
  • Imaging and setting up Windows and Apple devices,
  • User relocations and other tasks as we see fit. Assist as an operations support for Semel IT technicians and be responsible for special projects as assigned.
  • Other functions include implementation and support of Semel IT and AV services.


Knowledge of DHCP, WINS, DNS, Domains/Trusts, Domain management, Security, TCP/IP, RAS, NTFS, FAT, FAT32 Registry and INI files, Demonstrated ability to be trainable, install and configure computer devices according to standard procedure is helpful.

Ability to communicate, interact with other staff effectively and work as a responsible member of a team.


Must be a current UC Student

Pay Range:
$ $27.00 hourly.
