    District Sales Manager, Job Opportunity

    Join Drink Recess, a vibrant company focused on enhancing people's sense of calm, coolness, and collectedness through high-quality beverages and supplements. Our sales team is rapidly expanding and is in search of a motivated, well-organized, and approachable District Sales Manager to become part of the Recess family!

    As a crucial liaison for the Recess brand, you will play a vital role, working independently and collaboratively with the sales team, to foster strong relationships with distributors, establish new accounts, and boost brand visibility particularly in Texas, mainly Dallas. We are specifically looking for candidates with previous experience in territory sales within the consumer goods sector, individuals who are ready for a new adventure and enthusiastic about joining a successful organization in the Relaxation industry.

    The District Sales Manager (DSM) will collaborate with the West VP of Sales to oversee our DSD/broker network, manage accounts actively, and drive Recess sales and distribution. This position will be situated in Texas, ideally seeking candidates residing in the Dallas metropolitan area (consideration given to Austin/Houston).

    DSM Responsibilities:

    • Deliver on an annual retail execution and sales plan
    • Act as the primary communication, planning, and education contact for assigned distributors
    • Engage with distributor partners at all levels to ensure the achievement of sales targets by working together on ongoing KPIs
    • Participate in the sales and business management process by spending four days per week in the field
    • Provide exceptional customer service to retailers and distributors
    • Collaborate with distributor staff through work-withs and conduct quarterly blitzes in key areas
    • Make regular calls to sell new placements, maintain brand awareness, and explore in-store opportunities
    • Develop and implement programs with key retailers and distributor teams to drive growth
    • Educate, implement, and enforce Recess retail standards
    • Maintain a shared account database
    • Strategically manage daily activities to maximize market growth
    • Request necessary resources and outline action plans to optimize business prospects
    • Work closely with other departments to achieve company goals
    • Provide clear communication internally and externally on business performance and requirements

    Key Skills, Experiences, and Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree preferred
    • Willingness to travel within Texas and the Western US as required
    • 4+ years of sales experience in the food/beverage or consumer goods industry
    • Strong relationship management skills and a results-driven attitude
    • Outstanding customer service abilities with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Proficient in presentations, public speaking, and premium selling techniques
    • A team player with the capacity to work independently as well
    • Ability to lift weights ranging from 10-35 pounds
    • Valid Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle
    • Proficiency in G-Suite (Gmail, Google Calendar) and basic Excel
