Our client is a privately owned company specializing in the distribution of industrial packaging and containers. They are a well-established company with multiple locations around the country and a large, diversified, and reliable network of suppliers and great company culture. The Sales Manager - Western Region will be responsible for managing a sales team who sell the industrial packaging products to companies in the chemical, food, pharmaceutical, paint and petroleum industries.
What You'll Be Doing:
Manage and coach a sales team to maintain and grow the assigned business in their territory
Identify and disseminate leads to sales and other team members
Build relationships with key suppliers to increase product and market knowledge of the sales team
Work with customers to identify needs and come up with solutions that fulfill those needs
What We're Looking For:
Seasoned sales manager with experience in leading, coaching, and mentoring a sales team
Experience with working for a distributor or selling through distribution channels is preferable
Past success building strategic relationships within the industrial packaging space
Ability to manage a sales team as well as customer relationships remotely
