    Description
    Vaco is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Payroll Manager to oversee a company's payroll operations.

    As a key member of thefinance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing.


    Responsibilities:
    Oversee the end-to-end payroll process, including data entry, payroll processing, and distribution of paychecks or direct deposits.
    Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations and reporting requirements.
    Review and approve payroll transactions, including salary adjustments, overtime, bonuses, and other compensation components.
    Manage and maintain accurate employee records, including tax withholding forms, banking details, and other relevant information.
    Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare reports for management, including payroll cost analysis and budgeting.
    Collaborate with HR to address employee payroll-related inquiries and resolve any discrepancies.
    Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll regulations and make necessary adjustments to company policies and procedures.
    Lead and develop a team of payroll specialists, providing guidance and support in their day-to-day responsibilities.

    Requirements:
    Proven experience as a Payroll Manager
    Strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax codes, and compliance requirements at both federal and state levels.
    Proficient in payroll software and systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, or similar).
    Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to reconcile complex payroll accounts.
    Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to meet strict deadlines.
    Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, particularly when dealing with employees' payroll-related inquiries.
