Canopy Biosciences is seeking an Inside Sales Specialist with a background in biology or molecular biology. This is an ideal position for a recent graduate just starting their sales career in the Life Sciences. We seek an innovative and motivated self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced start-up environment. As Inside Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for finding prospects, qualifying, and developing leads, and transferring qualified leads to Business Development for further development and closure. You will source new opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.
Responsibilities
Prospecting of leads from multiple sources, including LinkedIn, Pubmed, SciLeads, academic websites, and more
Engage with prospects via email and/or phone, positioning Canopy's offerings to their needs
Qualify incoming leads, providing product and pricing information, assessing needs, and establishing budget and timelines
Truly partner with Business Development colleagues completing the process through the Transfer of qualified leads.
Qualifications
1-3 years of experience in an inside sales role
Knowledgeable in technologies for protein detection, immunoassay, and microscopy, including spatial biology
Experience in pharma/biotech industry preferred
BS, MS, or Ph.D. in Biology, Molecular Biology, or a related field
Desire to work in a fast-paced startup environment
Preferred must reside in the Pacific or Mountain time zone
Remote position
At Bruker, base salary is part of our total compensation. The estimated base salary range for this full-time position is between $50,000 and $70,000 and provides an opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base salary for the role will depend on a number of job-related factors, including, but not limited to education, training, experience, the geographic location of the successful candidate, skills, competencies, job-related knowledge and travel requirements for this position. Full-time employees may also be eligible for a performance-related incentive in addition to a full range of benefits including 401(k) with company match, an employee stock purchase plan, medical and dental plans, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, employee assistance program and paid time off including vacation, sick time and holidays, and more.
