    Introduction

    We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Product Manager (PM) to drive our Hybrid Cloud portfolio of products.

    You will be an autonomous owner of the offering, with direct impact on the strategic direction of Apptio and single-threaded responsibility for the execution of all product development efforts.

    We are looking for someone with a background with knowledge in SaaS products focused on financial planning processes. Also, someone with prior experience working on outbound customer facing products.


    The right candidate will have the proven ability to dive deep into complex customer challenges and understand how to create simple yet elegant solutions to deliver value to our customers.

    You will work closely with our engineering, design, product marketing, customer success and sales teams to inform our product planning lifecycle from market validation to strategic planning & execution, and to drive successful adoption of the offering.

    This position is hybrid or onsite in one of these 5 locations only:
    Bellevue, WA or
    Morrisville, NC or
    Austin, TX or
    Lowell, MA or
    San Jose CA

    Your Role and Responsibilities

    Execute on the roadmap and prioritize features designed to satisfy unmet customer needs and emerging challenges.
    Partner with key stakeholders to plan, execute and deliver success of the offering.
    Collaborate with product marketing to create compelling messaging and content that clearly communicates the product value proposition.
    Analyze and understand the market and competitive landscape.
    Closely track industry trends and adapt your product strategy accordingly.
    Drive product roadmap innovation through rapid triage of facts and data

    Required Technical and Professional Expertise
    Bachelor's degree or higher
    10 plus years of product management experience with a proven track record of bringing compelling product offerings to market.
    2-3 years of Sr level product management experience.
    SaaS background with knowledge in products focused in financial planning processes.
    Prior experience working on outbound customer facing products.
    Experience with Modern data platforms and services.
    Technical understanding of the different delivery models (On-prem vs Public cloud vs private cloud) and associated services
    Strong written and verbal communication skills

    Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
    SaaS competitor industry knowledge.
    Mentoring background.
    Masters Degree

    The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
