    LINE-X is a vehicle up-fit Franchise organization with 500 Franchises across the US & Canada.

    This role is responsible for overseeing the management of over the road transportation services in order to identify process improvements, develop performance monitoring and reporting metrics, optimize transportation costs, and ensure timely and reliable delivery of products.

    The position requires strong analytical skills, and an understanding of the TL and LTL transportation industries.
    The Logistics Coordination Manager responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to the following:


    Process Improvement:
    Identify process inefficiencies and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the transportation category.

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as logistics, operations, and supply chain, to streamline processes, reduce lead times, and enhance overall transportation performance.


    Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
    Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the performance of transportation services.
    Generate regular reports on transportation costs, service levels, and supplier performance.
    Present findings and recommendations to senior management.

    Category Strategy Development:
    Develop and implement a comprehensive category strategy for transportation services, aligned with the organization's overall goals and objectives. This includes analyzing market trends, identifying potential suppliers, and evaluating cost-saving opportunities.

    Cost Optimization:
    Identify opportunities to optimize transportation costs while maintaining service quality.
    Analyze transportation data, such as freight rates, carrier performance, and fuel costs, to identify cost-saving initiatives.
    Implement strategies to consolidate shipments, optimize routes, and reduce transportation expenses.

    Stakeholder Collaboration:


    Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including operations, sales, and finance teams, to understand transportation requirements and align strategies with business needs.

    Provide guidance and support to ensure transportation services meet operational and customer expectations.

    Market Research and Industry Knowledge:
    Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies within the transportation sector.
    Conduct market research to identify new transportation solutions and innovative approaches to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

    Position Qualifications:
    Education
    Bachelors Degree required
    Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, logistics, or a related field or Advanced Degree in Supply Chain Management (or CIPS, CSCP, CPP, CMA, CPSM Certifications) desired
    Experience
    2+ years of related professional experience required
    5+ years of related professional experience preferred
    Job Specific Skills
    Minimum Required Skills

    Proven experience in TL/LTL transportation management, logistics
    Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
    Project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

    Preferred Skills

    Understanding of LTL transportation and industry best practices Experience in developing category/commodity sourcing strategies is a plus.
    Experience implementing and/or using transportation management systems (TMS) and other relevant software tools.
    Ability to adapt to changing business needs and work in a fast-paced environment.

    This position will have 0 direct reports.
    The position will report in office 5 day/s week. The role may require up to 10% travel.
