    At Jukebox, we're remixing women's personal care routines with our line of natural, high-performance products. As a rapidly growing brand under the Dr. Squatch enterprise, we're continuously expanding into new product categories, sales channels, and growth opportunities.
    About the Role:

    The Product Strategy & Retail Sr. Associate is responsible for strategically crafting the Jukebox product portfolio and driving growth at retail through innovative merchandising.
    This role will primarily focus on strategic initiatives related to the product roadmap.

    They will drive forward new product initiatives like scent and category expansion – everything from market assessment, concept briefing, brand approval, and launch planning.

    Day-to-day responsibilities will include market research, pricing & margin analysis, product performance assessments, sales data analysis, project management, as well as other ad hoc product strategy initiatives to maximize customer lifetime value.

    They will also be responsible for supporting go-to-market retail initiatives like display execution, product launches, in-store marketing, and brand activation.

    A successful candidate will be highly analytical and have an understanding of the DTC, Retail, and/or personal care landscapes. The role requires a critical-thinking individual with a passion for products, problem-solving, and strong business acumen. They will be highly creative, analytical, and ROI-driven in identifying potentially attractive opportunities. A great Product Strategy & Retail Sr.

    Associate will be an exceptional teammate, leveraging the expertise of our Product Development, Consumer Insights, Data & Analytics, Marketing, Operations and Retail teams to ensure we're making the best product and retail decisions for the business.

    Finally, a successful Product Strategy & Retail Sr. Associate will understand how to balance data with intuition and will be energized by helping guide important decisions.
    This role will report to the Head of Product Strategy & Retail, Jukebox.
    This is a full-time, hybrid role with company benefits based in Marina del Rey, CA.
    The anticipated base compensation range for this role will be $80,000 to $90,000. Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and local market rates.
    What You'll Do:

    Lead the execution of cross-functional initiatives, including product briefs, new category/product concept proposals, and ad-hoc strategic projects
    Present findings and articulate clear recommendations to the leadership team
    Track and summarize trends in the personal care space and share learnings with cross-functional stakeholders
    Ongoing competitive research and benchmarking
    Identify key whitespace and product innovation opportunities by translating data from multiple sources (i.e. consumer insights, market research, competitive benchmarking, customer-level data) into winning value propositions
    As part of the development of new products, own pricing and product margin, work cross-functionally to establish and understand revenue goals, demand planning, and merchandising, and manage the product and artwork design

    Identify, design and execute retail programs to support brand equity and incremental opportunities for brand growth
    Partner with Operations organization to ensure retail execution and success

    About You:

    Bachelor's Degree - ideally in Business, Marketing, quantitative, or technical field
    2-3+ years in innovation/ CPG, management consulting, finance, retail, high-growth startups or similar
    General interest in health, wellness, and natural products
    Strong analytical skills with a passion for making things
    A scrappy self-starter with the ability to complete tasks both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
    Strong organizational and multitasking skills with high attention to detail
    A team player excited about cross-functional collaboration
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    Experience working in the consumer products industry is highly preferred
    Someone who gets things done without perfect resources is innovative and works with a sense of urgency
    Someone who has high standards takes ownership and is invested in the outcome
    Someone who proactively helps others stays positive and has a good sense of humor
