My name is Brin Merkley and I'm a digital marketing professional who firmly believes that content is king. With over 10 years of combined experience in journalism, media production, experiential, social media, and digital marketing strategies, I've honed my skills in optimizing and humanizing brands through storytelling and strategic marketing.

As a former investigative reporter, producer, and researcher for CBS, NBC, and PBS affiliate news stations, I bring a unique perspective to digital marketing. Using my expertise in data analytics, search engine optimization, multi-platform content creation, and client and community relations, I work to build brands' online presence as an authority in the digital community.

I'm well-versed in a variety of digital marketing techniques, including ad campaigns, PPC, email marketing, and website optimization. Additionally, I have experience in creating and executing branded and artist tours, ensuring that every aspect of a brand's online and offline presence is consistent and engaging.

Experience

I have a diverse professional background that includes working as a broadcast journalist, news anchor, actress, model, influencer, and content creator. Over the years, I have gained extensive experience working as a social media manager and content creator for a wide range of brands, spanning from ski resorts to comedy channels, and sustainable water bottles.

In addition to my social media experience, I have also worked as a tour manager for two national tours and one international tour, gaining valuable experiential marketing experience. As a content creator and freelancer, I have worked with some of the biggest names in the industry, including Nike.

Throughout my career, I have developed a unique set of skills that allows me to create and curate engaging content for a variety of platforms. Whether it's optimizing social media campaigns, producing videos, or writing compelling blog posts, I have the experience and expertise needed to take your brand to the next level.

Education

I earned my degree in broadcast journalism from the University of Montana, which provided me with a strong foundation in storytelling and media production. After spending 10 years working in digital marketing, I decided to further my education by obtaining a Digital Marketing Certificate from the American Marketing Association and Digital Marketing Institute in 2020.

I understand the importance of staying up-to-date with the latest industry changes, which is why I make it a priority to read through industry newsletters and study the latest culture changes and algorithm updates. However, I also recognize that experience is an incredible education in itself, which is why I value my time working with a variety of brands. This experience has provided me with invaluable insight into the industry, helping me to develop my skills as a digital marketer and content creator.
