- Manage Accounts Receivable and collection processes, includes credit control monitoring and evaluation.
- Engage in full cycle general ledger activities in accordance with GAAP standard and local regulations.
- Period-end closing activities, including prepare journal entries, allocation, accruals, and reconciliation, as well as other duties in accordance with the company timelines and schedule.
- Calculate royalties due and warranty reserves.
- Reconciles bank accounts at least monthly, verifies deposits, and addresses inquiries from banks.
- Verifies and/or completes payment of invoices associated with accounts payable and ensures payments are charged to the appropriate accounts.
- Manage various tax compliance, including sales and use tax, property tax and business license filings.
- Serve as a key contributor for outside auditors and facilitate various audit requests.
- Coordinates with software vendor to maintain accounting software systems; recommends updates to enhance the accounting software.
- Manages the purchasing and invoicing system.
- Maintain and update company accounting procedures and process.
- Support preparation of reporting packages.
- Support other financial members if necessary.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's or associate's degree in accounting, or in a related specialization.
- At least 2 years experience in general ledger accounting, or similar.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and a problem solver with a "can-do" mentality
- Knowledge of general financial accounting
- Strong analytical skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software, and accounting software.
