Accountant

Purpose of the Role


This position will play a key role in overseeing the financial operations of our organization, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations.


Key Responsibilities
Include, but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed to meet business needs.

  • Oversee accounting tasks and financial activities, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
  • Analyze financial performance and prepare reports based on analyses.
  • Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses.
  • Review, and present financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to management and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with various regions to support financial planning efforts.
  • Perform reconciliations of accounts, financial discrepancies investigations, and resolution.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and internal controls.
  • Exercise confidentiality over sensitive information processed.
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed to meet business needs.

  • Excellent computer proficiency, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and other technology as adopted by the company.
  • Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

  • Ensuring compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
  • Accurate analysis of financial performance, preparation of financial reports, and timely presentation to management and stakeholders.
  • Implementation and adherence to financial policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and internal controls.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve problems, trends, or opportunities for process improvements.

Experience:


  • Minimum of five (5) years accounting and/or finance experience
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or Business.
  • Experience of working in a fastpaced working environment
  • Previous experience with manufacturing and cost accounting is a plus.
  • CPA license is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary for the Accountant position ranges from $75,000 to $84,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes vacation, paid holidays, a health benefits package, and a 401(k) plan.
