    Description


    Under the supervision of the Mental Health LCSW Consultant and the Area Supervisor of Interdisciplinary Services, the Mental Health Coordinator performs a full range of casework, oversight, and related service activities, including assessment of client needs and the development and implementation of intervention plans to meet participants needs.

    The Mental Health Coordinator will communicate directly with families, complete the necessary paperwork, assess the family, and refer them out.

    They will also be supporting teachers in the classroom to give strategies on how to work with specific behaviors.

    The Mental Health Coordinator will spend 60% of their time in the office, while 40% of their time will be assessing/ working with teachers and children at specific centers in LA and Lynwood.

    . Bilingual English and Spanish, Tagalog, or Korean1. Master's degree in social work, Psychology, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy 2. Ability to be registered with California BBS. 3. Three years' experience in management OR direct services with young children and their families, preferably in a mental healthrelated capacity. 4. Expertise in management and oversight of mental health services, strong clinical skills in individual, family, and group therapy.
