    Job Description

    he Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance with established policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, excellent leadership abilities, and a keen eye for detail.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage and supervise the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
    • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
    • Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
    • Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Coordinate and liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and other stakeholders as needed.
    • Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
    • Stay updated on accounting regulations and industry best practices, and implement changes as necessary to maintain compliance and efficiency.
    • Collaborate with other departments to support strategic initiatives and business objectives.
    • Perform other duties and ad-hoc projects as assigned by management.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.
    • Proven experience (8+ years) in accounting or finance roles, with 5 years of managerial experience.
    • Thorough understanding of accounting principles, regulations, and standards (GAAP).
    • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues at all levels.
    • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
    • Leadership qualities with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams.
