to join their team. The ideal candidate will have FS prep and analysis experience. They are also hoping for better job costing info and process improvement.
The
Accounting Manager
role is a hybrid position with 3 days per week in office. This is a client direct hireposition.
Accounting
Manager Job Description:6-8 years minimum of full-charge bookkeeping and financial management experience is required.
Candidate must have the background and experience in all facets of accounting management.
Should be able to identify business opportunities, cost control, and concerns with the ability to develop appropriate strategies to address each.
Candidate must be able to prepare financial statements and have the ability to evaluate financial results, appropriately relating financial performance to financial plans.
An understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and analysis for a multiple office setting.Candidate must be able to manage the financial and administrative staff with clear guidance and instruction.
Mathematical aptitude as well as good written and verbal communication skills.

Controller Job Requirements:
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree (BA) in Accounting is preferred, however, a similar degree in Finance will also be considered.
Maintain in-depth relations with all members of the management team.
Oversee the financial operations of subsidiary companies.
Manage any third parties to which functions have been outsourced.
Participate in selecting employee benefit plans, with particular emphasis on maximizing a cost-effective benefits package.
Report financial results to the Partners.
Construct and monitor reliable control systems.
Maintain appropriate insurance coverage.
Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements.
Monitor cash balances and cash forecastsWilling to travel throughout Michigan.
