Strategically assess customer need, technical capability, and business drivers to propose and drive clinical research strategy for programs in ADC's business area.
Communicate program status to development teams and ADC management.Balance product cost, performance, and timely results in order to meet ADC goals.
Provide the forum to facilitate communications, problem solving, and goal alignment between R&D and clinical organizations.
Work with functional leadership to determine and ensure appropriate resource availability and assignments.
Prioritize activities among several programs to balance resource availability, program status and schedule, and business need.
Anticipate and solve problems to keep programs on track.
Work to break down barriers in within programs and across functional areas.
Manage regular review meetings, at various levels, with project teams representing R&D, QA/RA and Clinical areas.
Hold management reviews with Senior ADC management to communicate program development and schedule status.
Manage and coordinate clinical study launch plans from development through site selection, study initiation and conclusion.
Present appropriate development metrics to communicate status of the project.
Follow and adapt an increasingly complex and evolving Design Control system for clinical research activities.
Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the quality system.
QualificationsMinimum of a Bachelors degree required. Masters degree preferred.
Strong, Proven background of managing complex projects.
Experience in medical device environment is preferred.
Experience managing project budget and cross functional teams.7 years of relevant experience with a BS/BA degree or 5 years of experience with a MS/MBA/MA degree are desired.
Several years of product development experience with medical diagnostic (retail or hospital) products are desired.Broader experiences in the areas of finance, sales, marketing, are desired.
This position requires the ability to collect information from multiple sources, sort through, integrate, and resolve often conflicting requirements, and drive an organization through the various issues to result in a successful product launch.
