As Meta's datacenter infrastructure grows rapidly in scope and scale the increased technical complexity and velocity of new product introductions requires exceptional organization and integration of activities across numerous internal and external teams and manufacturing sites.

Meta's Infrastructure organization is seeking a highly motivated and experienced New Product Introduction Program Manager to act as the single threaded program owner across the Supply Chain organization to navigate dynamic & ambiguous development environments, bring clarity and alignment, identify critical path and blockers and manage risks to drive successful on-time and on-quality NPI delivery of Meta's highest-priority AI, compute, storage & network hardware across our global data center footprint.

This position will work closely with external manufacturing partners and Meta internal stakeholders including AI & Hardware Engineering, Technical Program Management, Manufacturing Operations, and all Supply Chain functions.


NPI Program Manager Responsibilities:


  • Act as primary liaison between Meta's Supply Chain organization and all internal and external partners for covered programs.
  • Drive build readiness including all Supply Chain deliverables and daily build issue debug cadence across Meta's Supply Chain and internal and external engineering and manufacturing partners.
  • Drive manufacturing, test and material readiness, infrastructure, development and milestones with internal partners and external manufacturing partners.
  • Own program risk identification, mitigation, management and communication across Meta's Supply Chain organization.
  • Own overall program communication strategy and execution across Meta's supply chain organization and internal and external partners.
  • Drive factory ramp readiness with internal and external engineering and manufacturing partners.
  • Own and drive program escalations across Meta internal and external teams and partners.
  • Support material costs and ODM costs to Budget owner & TCO activities throughout the NPI lifecycle
  • Identify operational pain points and improvement opportunities across internal and external processes and workflows and drive improvements across multiple teams and functions.

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in a directly related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in NPI product lifecycle, program management including program kickoff, stakeholder influence & strategy, workstream prioritization, influencing & driving crossfunctional execution, establishing working relationships across multidisciplinary teams and multiple partners in different time zones, risk identification / mitigation / management, and program communication across audiences ranging from working group to senior executive.
  • Technical background in engineering or manufacturing in AI, compute, or networking space.
  • 6+ years of relevant work experience with in computer hardware and/or networking manufacturing, shop floor control, supply chain execution, and manufacturing testing and product lifecycle management tools and processes.
  • Effective demonstrated skill to adapt, take initiative and thrive in ambiguity, build cross functional relationships, manage individual / team / organizationlevel conflict, and resiliency, leadership & motivation.
  • Knowledge of manufacturingspecific roles & responsibilities throughout NPI phases including HW, SW, manufacturing, product, process, test & quality engineering, reliability, and quality assurance.
  • Knowledge of supply chainspecific roles & responsibilities throughout NPI phases including procurement, planning, product lifecycle management, materials management, demand and supply planning, and logistics.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing test processes & systems, including visual & quality inspections, automated server, storage and integrated rack testing.
  • Knowledge of PLM concepts including BOMs, ECO / MCO, deviations, part substitutions, effectivity date management, quality management systems.
  • Attention to detail coupled with the experience operating flexibly and be a change agent within a dynamic and rapidly changing environment.
  • Proven communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • M.S. in hardware engineering, manufacturing engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience completing Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis and ensuring project costs meet or better budget objectives.
  • Experience sourcing and managing global (Asia, EU, LATAM) suppliers and manufacturing partners.
  • Experience with activities around RFQ package creation, source selection, specification creation, cost analysis, and price negotiation with appropriate team members.
  • Experience executing commercial sourcing agreements.
  • Experience with risk management and disaster & recovery best practices related to hardware manufacturing facilities, processes and goals.
