    SENIOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER (TECH ALLIANCE LEAD)
    LOCATION – AUSTIN METRO – HYBRID – OTE $250-300,000 PER ANNUM

    Our rapidly expanding global team is currently building out our North American HQ in Austin, Texas.

    As part of a holistic founder friendly approach and service, we have built an extensive alliance and partnership model internally with AWS and externally supporting AWS ISV resellers.

    In order to grow and capitalise on all commercial opportunities we need to recruit a Senior Business Development Manager / Senior BDM.

    That's where you come in.

    Reporting into our Global Head of Sales and indirectly to the NAMER General Manager, the Senior BDM will play a key role opening up alliance/partnership relationships with key AWS personnel in the ISV and start up eco-systems (PE/VC communities, tech accelerators and start-up incubators).

    Ultimately, helping us acquire high-potential technology startups, supporting their growth, commercialize, attract VC investment and exit.

    Key responsibilities include:

    Strategic Partnership Development :
    Lead the strategic development and implementation of partnerships with startups.
    Relationship Management with


    AWS:

    Serve as the primary liaison between VeUP and AWS, nurturing and strengthening the relationship to drive mutual business objectives.


    Startup Customer Acquisition:
    Drive the acquisition of startup customers by understanding their needs, pain points, and goals.

    Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification:
    Conduct thorough market analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and potential opportunities within the startup sector.

    Solution Development and Positioning :
    Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions and offerings tailored to the needs of startup customers.

    Sales Pipeline Management:
    Manage the end-to-end sales pipeline for startup customers, from lead generation and qualification to negotiation and closure.

    Customer Success and Retention:
    Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and deployment of solutions for startup customers.
    Cross-functional Collaboration: Foster collaboration and alignment across various internal teams, including sales, marketing, product development, and customer success.
    The successful candidate is educated to College Degree level in a suitable discipline.

    This will suit candidates with extensive networks within the startup and AWS ecosystem (either employed directly by AWS in the Start-Up or ISV Sales/Account Management growth teams or indirectly as a BDM/Account Manager with other AWS resellers).

    Founding or scaling a tech startup experience would be preferred or partnering with ISV/SaaS start-ups through their commercial journey with a strong business acumen is helpful.

    You have a broad range of selling across the ISV/Saas/Tech ecosystem; for example into accelerator or incubator programmes.

    This represents a superb challenge for proven Sales Executives / BDMs / Senior Account Managers to join a fast growth start-up friendly consulting business.

    You will been key to our growth in the USA and ultimately ensuring Veup and our VC Quadri is successful.

    An excellent salary / OTE of $250-300,000 per annum is accentuated with health care benefits, generous holiday allowance and flexible / hybrid working arrangements.
