    Blue365 is a digital health and wellness program created and manage by the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association (BCBSA). Blue365 is exclusive to members of participating Blue Cross Blue Shield Companies, available to over 65 million Americans.

    The program offers discounts on products and services that empower our Blue members to make healthy living easy and affordable.

    During its 15 years of existence, Blue365 has consistently grown at double digits rate and is the industry-leading online health savings program, partnering with over 70 top retail brands nationwide.

    We are looking for the ideal candidate to help us achieve our mission of providing our members with premier health and wellness discounts so they can live healthier on a budget.

    The Blue365 Account Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with our clients (i.e., the participating Blue Cross Blue Shield Companies, including the FEP incentive program) as well as merchants (i.e., companies that offer their products/services through Blue365).This position will be responsible for relationship management, communications and marketing activities that ensures Blue365's continued growth and success.

    Plan Management and Contracting

    Day-to-day account management and contract renewals, including consultative marketing, custom assets requests and general ad-hoc inquiries

    Manage all-Plans calls, including agenda development, presentations, analytics report development and ad-hoc reporting requests

    Merchant Management and Contracting

    Day-to-day account management and contract renewals, including contract amendments, offer updates, pricing negotiations and general ad-hoc inquiries

    Manage all-merchant calls, including agenda development, presentations and post-call requests

    Relationship Management

    Partners with various stakeholders to resolve complex internal/external customer program issues utilizing available resources and content expertise.

    Acts as a contact, resource and partner to the Federal Employee Program, Vendor Management or Legal team providing guidance on Blue365 program interpretation, ensuring prioritization of contract requests and member responses.

    Acts as a Member Advocate, responsible for handling escalated concerns, removing roadblocks and continuously looking for ways to improve and expand the services to our customers.

    The Account Manager is responsible for regular performance reports and attending BCBS Plan/FEP/Vendor events.

    Communications and Marketing

    Responsible for the communications and marketing elements of the Blue365 program.

    Project work will include the following:

    developing weekly proactive communication plans and materials; leading effective marketing and communications activities to support program results; building relationships and coordinating with team members across BCBSA business units and BCBS Plans to analyze and synthesize complex information; and crafting channel and audience appropriate communications to ensure alignment of program messages and processes.

    Deal Calendar and Sourcing

    Management of deal calendar, including website updates to reflect weekly promotions

    Quarterly deal portfolio review to ensure deals meet financial and administrative criteria

    Education Bachelors Degree

    Masters Degree

    Certifications Experience

    Minimum 5 Years Of Experience In Client/vendor Account Management

    Minimum 5 years of experience in understanding and negotiating contracts

    Minimum 5 Years Of Experience With Supporting Marketing Activities

    Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare

    Strong experience with MS Office applications and marketing automation/tracking tools like Sales Force, Adobe Engage, etc.

    Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, and CRM tools, etc.

    Advanced knowledge of analytic tools such as Excel, VBA and/or Google Analytics Skills Strong English communication and relationship building skills through written and verbal communication, for client/vendor and internal audiences; must be able to confidently present material up to VP+ level, internally and externally

    Proven ability to understand contract language and strong negotiation skills

    Strong analytical skills and problem solving to identify and mitigate obstacles and conflicts in advance

    Self-motivated, detailed-oriented and able to work autonomously while still meeting objectives and deadlines

    This position will work closely with BCBS Plans and directly interact with mid-level managers on a daily basis.

    The Account Manager will be responsible for supporting Plans with all of their inquiries and will communicate frequently on any program updates.
