    Job Summary:


    We are seeking a skilled and experienced Director of Event Technology to join our client's team at a high-end hotel in the Cambridge/Boston area.

    The Director of Event Technology will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of event technology, including audiovisual, lighting, and staging solutions.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in event technology and a proven track record of leading successful events in the luxury hotel industry.


    Salary:
    $75,000 - $85,000


    Responsibilities:

    • Manage a team of event technology professionals, providing guidance, training, and support as needed
    • Develop and implement event technology strategies and processes to enhance the quality and efficiency of our events at the highend hotel
    • Collaborate with event planners and other stakeholders to understand their needs and recommend appropriate technology solutions that align with the luxury hotel experience
    • Oversee the planning, setup, and operation of event technology equipment, ensuring it meets the requirements and expectations of each highend event
    • Stay uptodate with the latest trends and advancements in event technology, making recommendations for improvement as needed to maintain a competitive edge in the luxury hotel space
    • Maintain and manage event technology inventory, ensuring equipment is of the highest quality and properly stored, maintained, and repaired as needed
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and protocols for event technology setups, ensuring the utmost care and professionalism is taken in all aspects of event technology at the highend hotel
    • Coordinate and collaborate with external vendors and contractors as needed, ensuring their services also align with the luxury experience provided by the hotel

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Event Management or Audiovisual Technology
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in event technology, with a focus on audiovisual, lighting, and staging solutions in the luxury hotel industry
    • Strong technical knowledge and proficiency with highend event technology equipment and software
    • Proven experience managing and leading a team of event technology professionals in a luxury hotel setting
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fastpaced environment
    • Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a focus on delivering a seamless luxury experience
    • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed for events at the highend hotel
