Since our MIT origins in 2008, we've partnered with medical professionals to provide patients custom-fit orthotics, sporting goods brands to provide NFL & NCAA players custom-fit helmets, and fashion brands to ensure shoppers globally are happy with the fit of their product purchases.

All of this is enabled by our world-class, smartphone-based 3D body scanning technology, commercially known as CurvCapture (medical) and Verifyt (retail).

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced and versatile marketing manager to help us increase the awareness and demand for our Verifyt solution in the fashion industry. The fashion fit technology space is redhot and fastevolving, as bracketing, returns and excess inventory have reached alltime highs, putting huge dents in brand's bottom lines. You will be responsible for having a deep understanding of this market, the players, and how we stand out. As an early hire on our marketing team, you will maintain multiple responsibilities, including marketing strategy, content creation, product positioning & messaging, public relations, and event marketing. You will collaborate with our internal business and product teams, in addition to our client's marketing teams.

Responsibilities:

Gain a deep understanding of the fashion fit technology space, the players (target audience, competitors, partners), and our Verifyt solution
Collaborate with the Business and Product Teams to develop effective marketing strategies, messaging and campaigns to drive revenue goals
Create marketing strategy, establish marketing goals, objectives, tasks and track performance
Content Marketing: Create content calendar, the actual content (blogs, infographics, videos, LinkedIn posts, etc.)
Product Marketing: Craft product positioning, narratives, and messaging to align product, sales, and marketing teams, and educate new hires
Create marketing material that articulates the product features and benefits to the market, including product releases and updates (demo videos for sales presentations, marketing content, website, tradeshows, new hire education)
Social Marketing: Take ownership of social media accounts and updates. Build and manage the company's social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and additional channels that may be deemed relevant
Event Marketing: research events and assist with event planning, including working with vendors, event coordinators, and design teams for onsite collateral.
Digital: Update website copy and improve SEO

Preferred Skills and Experience:

Bachelor's degree required
3+ years experience in marketing
Experience in fashion, tech startups
Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, including oral, written, and presentation skills
Big picture thinker but also keen to details, and can execute
A passion for producing compelling content, written and graphical
You're a selfstarter who enjoys rolling your sleeves up to get stuff done.
