    Scion Staffing is currently conducting a search for a Nonprofit Donor Database Specialist on behalf of our client, an esteemed nonprofit in Manhattan, New York.     What You'll Be Doing
    • Respond to incoming calls, voicemails, and emails, addressing inquiries and donor requests, while tracking donor inquiries related to donations.
    • Record and manage various forms of donations including cash, checks, stock/securities, online donations, and electronic funds transfers (EFT) in Salesforce.
    • Maintain EFT and check master sheets, tracking incoming donations and reconciling with the finance team.
    • Monitor and manage recurring donations, following up with donors as needed.
    • Process securities donations accurately and promptly, understanding donor advised funds and workplace gift portals.
    • Research and identify donation details across multiple platforms, ensuring accurate data entry and recording of gross amounts.
    • Prepare profiles for major, lapsed, and potential donors to support cultivation strategies.
    • Conduct database maintenance, identifying and correcting formatting errors and duplicate entries based on SOPs.
    • Assist with mail handling, donation preparation for deposits, acknowledgment letter creation, and tax receipt processes.
    • Undertake other duties as assigned.
    What You'll Need
    • 2+ years of nonprofit fundraising and/or development experience
    • 2+ years of experience with Salesforce
    • Certified in Salesforce database management preferred
    • Previous experience with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel
