    The Corporate Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level. This position carries out responsibilities in all HR functional areas with an emphasis on onboarding, benefits administration, recruitment, and compliance.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Provide day-to-day guidance on HR policies, processes, and programs to all employees.
    • Oversee Workday onboarding process by supporting regional teams, resolving issues, and training new users.
    • Maintain Workday HCM records and compile reports from the system.
    • Coordinate new hire onboarding for corporate and ensure compliance with new hire forms.
    • Contributor to the Workday HCM, onboarding, applicant tracking, and benefits modules implementation project team.
    • Provide benefit administration support by communicating benefits offered, handling benefit inquiries and escalating issues to the HR Director.
    • Assist HR Talent Acquisition Manager with screening applications, conducting phone interviews, and coordinating on-site interviews.
    • Assist HR Compliance Manager with EEO/Affirmative Action Plan activities and reporting.
    • Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies, procedures, and processes.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    Experience, Education & Skills
    • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or related.
    • Three or more years of human resources experience. Construction industry experience is preferred.
    • Technically savvy and fast learner.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong organizational, attention to detail, and prioritization skills.
    • Must have the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HCM systems. Prior Workday experience is preferred.
    Working Conditions
    • Location - This role will be full-time in the Burnsville, MN corporate office.
    • Office environment - Extensive sitting at desk and computer; some standing, bending at the waist, stooping and reaching required; ability to lift 5-20 pounds occasionally.
