    Summary:

    TempWorks Software, an industry-leader in integrated front and back office software solutions for staffing agencies is seeking a Human Resources Generalist.

    At TempWorks, the Human Resources Generalist is an assigned HR Business Partner to departments and consults with management on employee relations, including advising on employee performance, compensation, and problem-resolution strategies. The HR Generalist administers employee health and welfare plans and provides administrative support to the human resources functions, including record-keeping, file maintenance, and consistent policy enforcement.

    General Responsibilities:

    • Consult with assigned business partners on HR functions while being solution oriented
    • Review and provide feedback on written documentation such as disciplinary memorandums, Performance Improvement Plans, and annual performance reviews
    • Partner with leadership to implement improvements in processes and policies
    • Identify areas of opportunity to improve the employee experience and develop solutions
    • Seek professional development opportunities in the HR realm and translate new knowledge into recommendations for the business
    • Monitor HR trends and best practices and ensure employment laws are followed
    • Administer health and welfare plans, including during the open enrollment process
    • Complete all HR tasks associated with the employee onboarding and offboarding processes
    • Maintain employee personnel files and process changes through payroll and benefits to ensure accurate record-keeping
    • Respond to employee questions while following the service level agreements
    • Provide administrative support to Human Resources Management
    • Perform other related duties as assigned

    Required Skills and Abilities:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Advanced understanding of human resources principles, practices and procedures
    • Ability to work well independently and in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to convey information clearly and accurately
    • Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information

    Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience required
    • 2+ years of experience in human resources, staffing, recruiting, or related field
    • Experience partnering with management on employee relations
    • Experience contributing to HR projects that align with HR initiatives and company vision
    • Experience processing payroll
    • Knowledge of HR and benefits software
    • Familiarity with local, state and federal labor laws and regulations
    • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred
