- Administer benefits, including enrollment, education, and claims resolution.
- Assist with recruitment and onboarding for all employee types.
- Manage specific HR programs and ensure compliance across employee types.
- Perform employee transactions in ADP Workforce Now.
- Facilitate communication and maintain effective employee relations.
- Address employee relations issues, such as performance, corrective actions, and terminations, with HR Manager direction.
- Process employee status changes promptly.
- Oversee leave administration (FMLA, ADA, disability programs).
- Maintain personnel files and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
- Stay updated on processes and procedures for all employee groups.
- Assist with the affirmative action program and EEO compliance.
- Support worker compensation claim submissions and follow-ups.
- Participate in administrative meetings, seminars, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Assist with audits and recommend corrective actions.
- Manage other projects or responsibilities as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in HR management or related field; 3+ years of HR experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Preference for HR healthcare experience.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Internet Explorer.
- Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now preferred.
- PHR or SHRM certification is a plus.
- Understanding of employment laws and practices.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and customer service orientation.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills; effective in presenting data and interpreting information.
- Exhibits confidence, energy, and enthusiasm; quick learner and adaptable to fast-paced environments.
- Good interpersonal skills; maintains confidentiality and openness to new ideas.
- Flexible, capable of managing changes, delays, or unexpected events.
