- Manage the accounts payable and account receivable, work with the Orders Desk to follow up on invoices and outstanding invoices.
- General accounting: maintaining and updating the general ledger to ensure accuracy.
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements as well as cost-analysis of current tools.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial records to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
- Assist in budgeting process, preparing financial data and analysis to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper financial controls and procedures.
- Assist with Payroll/ADP Run and prepare annual state and local licensing certifications and basic tax filings.
- Proven experience in accounting roles, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Solid knowledge of general accounting skills and strong knowledge of accounting, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, purchasing, financial statements.
- Work experience and knowledge of SAGE 100 ERP (manufacturing), QuickBooks, ADP Run, Microsoft Excel.
- Well-organized, detail-oriented and accurate, trustworthy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication in person, on the phone, and through email.
