    Project Manager Architect – K-12 Education Projects

    Albany, NY

    Job Overview:


    Are you an experienced Architect Project Manager with at least 7 years of K-12 education project expertise? Are you seeking a career move that offers both professional growth and the flexibility of remote work? Look no further In this role, you will play a key part in transforming educational landscapes by managing multiple architectural, interior design, and planning projects simultaneously.


    Responsibilities:

    Project Planning:
    Collaborate with the Principal-in-Charge (PIC) to develop client contracts and sub-consultant agreements.

    Establish detailed work plans for each project, including project budgets, staffing requirements, and critical path schedules.


    Work closely with the PIC and fellow Project Managers to identify specific staff roles and resources needed for successful project execution.

    Develop and maintain a detailed Quality Control plan for each project.


    Management and Communication:
    Lead internal and external teams to meet project requirements, ensuring high-quality service and deliverables.

    Establish clear communication protocols to foster collaboration.

    Set expectations and communicate effectively with all team members.

    Manage client communication and coordination.


    Financial Management:
    Monitor project costs and identify billing amounts to clients each month.

    Identify potential contract changes and communicate with the Contract Manager to support fee changes with clients and consultants.


    Quality Assurance:
    Oversee the implementation of design pin-up and technical review processes based on firm guidelines.

    Ensure the effective implementation of the Quality Control plan, track progress, communicate results, and verify corrections.


    Management Systems:
    Contribute to the identification of potential improvements in the firm's project management systems.


    Collaborate with other Project Managers in resource allocation and staff development to ensure the success of all projects in the firm.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Architecture Project Management or a related management field.

    Minimum of seven years of relevant experience.

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    Strong management and mentoring skills.

    Good organizational and project financial management skills.
