    Job Description

    Job DescriptionLHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking an Event Coordinator with a background in catering. The ideal candidate will have a background in catering and hospitality, as well as at least one year of administrative/office experience. This position is a Direct Hire opportunity and will be five days in office.

    Responsibilities:
    • Work closely with the catering team to develop menus that align with client preferences and event themes.
    • Ensure timely delivery and setup of catering services, and manage on-site catering operations during events.
    • Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and service standards.
    • Address any issues or concerns related to catering services promptly and professionally.
    • Plan, coordinate, and execute events, including corporate functions, weddings, social gatherings, and other special events.
    • Collaborate with clients to understand their event objectives, preferences, and budget constraints.
    • Develop detailed event plans, timelines, and checklists to ensure seamless execution.
    • Coordinate with vendors, including caterers, decorators, entertainment providers, and rental companies.
    • Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown, ensuring all aspects run smoothly and according to plan.
    • Coordinate with event staff and vendors to ensure timely and efficient event operations.
    • Handle any on-site issues or emergencies with professionalism and composure.
    • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations during events.
    Qualifications:
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience in event coordination and office administration.
    • Experience in catering and hospitality services is essential.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
    • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality event experiences.
    • Ability to lift and carry event supplies and equipment as needed.
    Hours:
    • 8:00am-4:00pm
    • Monday through Friday

Available paid leave may include Paid Sick Leave, where required by law; any other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local law; and Holiday pay upon meeting eligibility criteria.

    Pay Details: $50,000.00 to $55,000.00 per year
