- Develop and implement strategies for position control and headcount management to support organizational goals.
- Ensure alignment between workforce planning, budgeting processes, and strategic objectives.
- Analyze workforce data and trends to advise on position creation, modification, and elimination.
- Collaborate with department heads and HR partners to understand staffing needs and ensure positions are structured to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.
- Provide expert advice on position management, including job design, classification, and leveling.
- Partner with the finance department to ensure position control strategies are aligned with budgetary constraints and financial planning.
- Monitor and report on staffing budgets, variances, and forecast future staffing needs.

- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence within the team.
- Generate detailed reports and analyze data on staffing trends, vacancy rates, and other critical metrics to offer insights that guide decision-making in workforce management.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather insights and feedback on position management practices.
- Represent the organization in external forums related to workforce planning and position management.
- Continually assess and enhance position control processes and systems to boost precision, efficiency, and adaptability to the organization's evolving needs.
- In-depth understanding of strategic HR management, including workforce planning, talent acquisition and management, employee development, and succession planning.
- Strong financial literacy, with the ability to develop budgets, interpret financial reports, and analyze the financial implications of HR decisions.
- Comprehensive knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices in compliance management.

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology Management, Business Administration, Human Resources, Statistics, or a related field from an accredited college or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 10 plus years of experience in a leadership role, managing HR functions or projects directly related to position control, is essential.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience working closely with financial planning and analysis, budget management, and resource allocation. This includes experience in developing staffing budgets, forecasting financial impacts of workforce changes, and aligning HR strategies with financial constraints.
- Experience in implementing or managing HR information systems (HRIS), data analytics tools, and other technology solutions that support HR and position control functions. This includes understanding system requirements, overseeing technology projects, and leveraging data for strategic decision-making.
- Master's degree in a related field

SUMMARY:
The Director of Position Control occupies a pivotal role within the organization, tasked with the comprehensive oversight of the organization's position management strategy. This encompasses a multifaceted set of responsibilities aimed at ensuring the alignment of all job positions with the overarching strategic objectives of the company, adhering to budgetary limitations, and meeting the operational demands of the organization. This role requires a deep integration of efforts across various domains, necessitating close collaboration with key stakeholders including Human Resources (HR), Finance, and leaders of different departments.
