    Contract role – 3 – 6 months

    Location: Marion, IL

    Hours: 8am-5pm Monday – Friday

    Pay: Will depend on Experience/Background

    Leading automotive supplier in need of a Contract/Temporary Project Purchasing Administrative Assistant to cover for a maternity leave of absence. Role anticipated to be 3-6 months.

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Clerical duties as assigned by manager. I.e. Letter of Intent, PO Change Sheet, Fixed Asset Documents, etc.
    • Collecting data to release to the buyer for quoting activity
    • Communicating the progress of the project to Project Purchasing Management
    • Preparing necessary presentation material for meetings
    • Assist in creating purchasing project documents such as tracking sheet and reports

    Essential Skills and Experience:

    • Interpersonal and Communication Skills
    • Organizational skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
    • Document Management

    Education/Training/Certifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, other Applied Science, or Purchasing supply chain management is preferred. Bachelor's degree in Business or other non-technical area is acceptable based on proven technical skill.

    Work Environment Requirements

    • Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Must be able to work on multiple assignments at once, and complete assignments within deadline and budget (if applicable) with satisfactory quality.
