    The IT - Senior Application Support will troubleshoot highly technical problems, which may require assessing source code to analyze and resolve problems. This requires advanced troubleshooting skills and must be able to adapt and create non-standard approaches to problem solving. This team is responsible for several provisioning and automation processes.



    Education/Experience:


    • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required or equivalent work experience


    • 6-8 years' experience required



    Required Skills:


    • Complex troubleshooting in a mission critical production environment


    • IT Customer Service/Problem Management Resolution experience



    Required Technical Skills/Experience:


    • System Administration and Support --- Automation through batch scripting, automating, day to day activities.


    • Windows OS


    • Windows IIS


    • MS SQL


    • Mongo DB knowledge/experience


    • GIT


    • Postman experience


    • API creation experience


    • Knowledge and comfortableness in Vcenter


    • Knowledge of Bluecat


    • Back-end developer with:

    (.NET/C#)

    -PowerShell

    Ansible

    -Python

    -Bash Scripting



    Desired Technical Skills/Experience:


    • HTML


    • Jenkins


    • Azure DevOps


    • Infrastructure automation



    Soft Skills:


    • Multitasker- able to develop, support, keep up with emails/chats


    • Strong communicator


    • Innovator- able to identify problem areas and implement automation solutions



    IT - Senior Application Support Responsibilities:


    • Organize and lead multi-functional teams during customer service disruptions, configuration management, new feature deployment and new product implementations


    • Perform code upgrades without supervision


    • Be responsible for, and master multiple subject matter areas of responsibilities


    • Identify and document best practices within their subject matter areas of expertise


    • Provide continuous process improvement suggestions


    • Maintain and document Standard Operating Procedures


    • Remain in constant contact through teams


    • Daily stand ups


    • Impromptu support meetings (Brainstorm and Troubleshooting session)


    • Monitoring and supporting GOMP processes


    • After hour support for Scotty migrations


    • Work with senior developers to updating and enhance current processes in place


    • Work with Technical teams to troubleshoot failures


    • Re-platform GOMP for UCP EOL effort


    • Troubleshooting as needed through tickets received from Jira, ServiceNow, Failed GOMP jobs


    • Creation of automation solutions


    • Support automation provided by GOMP

    -APIs


    • Automation migration efforts to get off integrated platforms and orchestration


    • Migrating off of the end-of-life infrastructure. A lot of migration work. In addition to more day-to-day support
