    Job Requisition ID 24WD76753Position OverviewAutodesk is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager, Executive Communications, for the Autodesk Construction business.

    This critical role will report to the Senior Director, Technology and Product Communications and will develop and implement executive communication strategies that help support the Senior Vice President (SVP) & General Manager (GM), Autodesk Construction.

    You will bring, communications expertise, intellectual curiosity, creativity, and positive energy to the Communications team.

    You will find and tell stories to customers, external influencers and employees through compelling speeches, presentations, meetings, and written communications.

    You will work within the technology and industry communications team and partner with leaders across the construction group, and use company-wide relationships to ensure that our approach to communications is consistent, mission-driven, and uniquely Autodesk.

    You have experience working within technology groups or for a global technology company.
    You will work remote or hybrid in this role.


    ResponsibilitiesExecutive Communications Strategy:
    Develop comprehensive executive communications strategy for Autodesk's SVP & GM, Construction, in collaboration with other teams including public relations, social media, and employee communications

    Leadership Support:

    Work directly with Autodesk's SVP & GM, Construction, their chief of staff and important subject matter experts to develop thought leadership narratives and materials, including presentations, messaging, and customer examples.

    Develop ways to share this content with other construction leaders within Autodesk, as well as leaders in other parts of the businessCross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Autodesk Government Affairs & Public Policy Team and Investor Relations Team to build messaging and surface compelling narratives for incoming government and investor inquiriesSocial Media Strategy & Execution: Create a social media strategy for Autodesk's SVP & GM, Construction by drafting social media posts; suggesting shares and existing content related to Autodesk's business; and propose new ways to engage on LinkedIn, and other platforms.

    Work with construction marketing team to align with executive-level campaigns and activitiesEmployee Communications Strategy & Execution: Develop an internal communications strategy to inform and engage construction industry-focused employees on the business, and lead construction-related content across AutodeskExternal Thought Leadership Strategy & Execution: Develop external speaking calendar, researching relevant third-party events, pitching Autodesk Construction leaders for speaking opportunities, and developing content for engagements.

    Develop long-form content and articles on behalf of Autodesk's SVP & GM, Construction, for publication on Autodesk properties and third-party sites.

    Collaborate with construction marketing on strategy to ensure messaging is aligned with construction narrativeMedia Relations Support:

    Partner and support Autodesk's Media Relations team by jointly developing external facing narratives, reviewing, and editing external facing materials.

    Keep media team apprised of executive's point-of-view for media pitching opportunities

    Construction Team Participation:
    Deeply embed in the organization and participate in meetings as requested with the Construction leadership team, providing a point of view on communications, and debating that POV with construction leadershipCommunications Team Collaboration & Support: Work across the corporate communications team and with partners across the company on communications projects in the best interests of the company and its employees; Pitch in to help teammates out on high-priority executive communications or internal communications projects, regardless of executive being supportedMinimum Qualifications10 years of communications experience at major corporationsBachelor's degree in communications, public relations, or a related field; Master's degree a bonusExperience communications, within the construction, global software, or technology industriesExperience supporting a C-level / Senior ExecutivesUnderstanding of industry trends and emerging technologiesSome travel requiredLI

For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $137,000 and $221,650. Offers are based on the candidates experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.

    In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
