About Lisa Burnham-Morris:

I started off in the medical field and absolutely loved working and helping people.     Ballroom Dancing was my passion, so I eventually open a Ballroom Dance Studio which lasted for 13 years. The reason that I left my business was due to the fact that I am a caregiver and was taking care of my husbands' family members from 2010 to 2023. My husband and I did not want any of our family members to go to a nursing home, so we decided to take on the task of caring for them full time. Two of the relatives were diagnosed with dementia and one with MS.  I also had the wonderful opportunity to raise my children and watch them become great young adults. I enjoy spending time with my family, my rescue animals and volunteer in my community. I am currently on my local Park Board (18 years) and love helping to make improvements within our local parks for the betterment of the community. I am also required to take Ethic Training and Sexual Harassment Training as a part of my requirements for the park district board in which I attend 2 evening meetings per month.

In high school I was in the Health Occupation Program through our local hospital and rotated to every single department to learn and have experience with all aspects of the hospital which included transporting patients, physical therapy, lab etc.  I have great patient relation skills and public relation skills due to my previous jobs which are listed on my resume. I am certified for Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED until 4/15/25. I do have a lot of office experience as well and can provide referral letters from my previous employers.

I hope people will see me as a hard worker with a positive attitude.  I truly believe that if you treat people with respect and kindness, their respect and kindness will make a full circle back to you. If problems do arise in the workplace, if it is with patients, customers or co-workers there is always a solution as long as the communication doors are open.

Thank you for the opportunity to apply for this position and hopefully I can be considered for employment.

Respectfully,

Lisa Burnham-Morris
