- Provide firstlevel technical support to endusers via phone, email, or in person
- Travel between our Southlake and Plano offices for support (with travel reimbursement)
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals
- Set up and troubleshoot network connections, including LAN
- Assist with user account management, password resets, and access permissions
- Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex technical problems
- Document all support activities and resolutions in the ticketing system
- Conduct regular maintenance tasks such as updates, patches, and backups
- Ensure compliance with security protocols and policies
- Assist with the procurement of IT equipment and software
- Proven experience in providing IT support in a professional environment
- Strong knowledge of Windows Operating Systems (Windows 11)
- Familiarity with Office 365 applications (Word, Excel)
- Familiarity with Google applications (Gmail, Google drive, sheets, docs)
- Experience with troubleshooting hardware issues (desktops, laptops, printers)
- Basic understanding of network concepts (IP addressing, DNS, DHCP)
- Knowledge of firewall concepts and basic network security principles
- Familiarity with Zendesk or other ticketing systems is a plus
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical users
- Strong customer service orientation with a focus on problemsolving
