    Description

    Summary

    This position is located at Departmental Offices, Terrorism and Financial Intelligence-Office of Foreign Assets Control, OFAC. As a Sanctions Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for serving as a resource for the public, the private sector, and the government on the implementation of OFAC sanctions.

    Duties

    The following are the duties of this position at the GS-13. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position.
  • Provide written and verbal guidance to the public, the private sector, and other parts of the government on OFAC sanctions compliance.
  • Conduct outreach to the public on sanctions compliance issues.
  • Recognize and brief OFAC leadership on sensitive foreign policy issues related to OFAC sanctions compliance.
  • Coordinate closely with all segments of OFAC on sanctions compliance issues.
  • Use strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
